  Using Adobe Air, Grand River developed a Desktop e-Commerce Widget Technology with targeted content for Top 500 Internet Retailer Discount Office Items. Users simply download to the widget which is populated with their account information. They can view recent orders, perform a quick re-order with a single click, search and view all products, track a shipment and more. The product display is configured to promote products that users have browsed or bought, or to target a special item and price helping deliver items which are relevant to a user’s interests.

  Babysitter Scheduler

  iPhone Application

  The Babysitter Scheduler is a custom iPhone application designed and built for busy parents. Through the creation of a request for a sitter, a broadcast text or tinyurl link is generated. It includes the time, date, rate and location to multiple sitters or in sequence to the sitter of their choice. It can be used with any mobile device with web browsing capabilities. Sitters can open the request and accept or decline the opportunity. If accepted, the app confirms to all sitters the position has been accepted and populates the date, time and contact information from the sitter on the parents calendar. The application can be found on iTunes or the App Store in the summer of 2011.
